In 1845, the Kardomah Coffee company was founded in Liverpool. In 1910 the first Kardomah Cafe in Britain was opened in Swansea. The Kardomah Café was originally located in Castle Street on the site of the Congregational Chapel, where Dylan Thomans’ parents, D.J. and Florence, were married in 1903.
